Within the framework of cooperation between الجمارك الليبية Libyan Customs and Culemen International, which is implementing the National Aviation Security Program project in Libya, the head of the Misrata International Airport Customs Center, accompanied by a member of the International Cooperation Office, received the visiting delegation from Culmen on Thursday, June 13, 2024. The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation between Libyan Customs and Coleman Company in training and development. It explored the factors that may affect the quality of the training process for customs personnel at the airport. Following the meeting, the attendees made a field visit to the airport where the challenges faced by customs personnel at Misrata International Airport were discussed.

Tripoli, January 13, 2025—Major General Musa Ali Mohammed, Acting Director General of the Customs Authority, inaugurated a specialized security detection training room at the Customs Training and Studies Institute to enhance customs officers' efficiency and strengthen national security. The event was attended by senior officials, including Mr. Guillaume Chapotte, Program Director of Culmen International, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Dr. Wael Bayoud from the Prime Minister's Office, alongside customs trainers and other key figures. This initiative reflects the Customs Authority's commitment to advanced training programs aimed at bolstering security and stability across the country.
